Lovell Historical Society Facts

Founded:
The Lovell Historical Society was founded in 1974.

Collections:
Much of the museum's collection is digitized and can be viewed on the Historical Society's website. Over 11,000 objects or records are included in this comprehensive online catalog. 7,000 of these have images in addition to basic information.

Facilities:
The Historical Society is housed in the 1839 Kimball-Stanford House, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The house is a connected house-barn farm structure. The first floor of the main house is the museum, while the ell (between the house and barn) is the research center.
