The Lovell Historical Society, founded in 1974, collects and preserves historical and genealogical records, property and artifacts and encourages and supports interest in, and study of, the history of the town of Lovell.
The organization is quite unique in that they have much of their collections up to be viewed online. If an image doesn't exist of the item or record there is still most likely basic information on it in the online cataloging system. In all approximately 11,000 objects and records have been recorded this way, 7,000 of which have accompanying images.
